About Us
The Newcomer Youth Program is offered by Parkdale Community Information Centre -PCIC and Parkdale Intercultural Association - PIA partnership. The program is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
The goal of forming PNYC is for youth to have their voices heard so that they can positively influence the youth program activities to meet the needs of the youth. The committee offers a platform for the youth to get more engaged in the youth community and community at large by taking on leadership roles. The committee members are volunteer youth members for a one year term from April 2010 to March 2011; they contribute their time and skills to help other youth and especially newcomer youth. >>>Read More...
